THING Festival Tickets

Incredible programming (thank you Adam Zacks) in a neat venue. I loved that the capacity was only 5000. I liked all the different food trucks and the night market (and that they featured many local vendors), in addition to the music and comedy. I have mixed feelings on the limited capacity venues - I like that they are more intimate but I didn't like having to miss Parquet Courts in order to stand in line for John C. Riley. I did not like having to buy drink tickets - it did make the line to actually get drinks go smoother, but I didn't like having to decide how many and of which type of drink I want ahead of time because if I buy too many, I'm stuck with extra tickets. Too few and I have to stand in line again (which I would not do because the lines were very long and slow). Also nobody seemed to know what was going on with the shuttle from the camp ground, and more camp ground activities would be appreciated. Overall it was a great experience and I look forward to next year!
