About
Jesus Piece are a hardcore metal band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band’s lineup includes frontman Aaron Heard, guitarists David Updike and John Distefano and drummer Luis Aponte. Established in 2015, the band released a string of independent EPs before signing to Southern Lord Records and unveiling their debut album, Only Self, in 2018. Five years later, Jesus Piece dropped their sophomore studio set …So Unknown courtesy of German heavy metal label Century Media Records. The 2023 LP contained singles like “Gates of Horn” and “Tunnel Vision.” Following its release, original bassist Anthony Marinaro exited Jesus Piece, turning the band into a quartet with touring bassist Alexander Cejas supporting them on the road.
