It was a different kind of concert, but it was amazing nonetheless. He always puts on a fantastic show with all his hits.

5 star band, Al played all his hits
by Zobo on 2018-06-08Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5if you’re a fan of Weird’s songs, you’ll be singing along all night long! The audience loved Al, the song selection and the band! You’ve never heard these songs sounding so good! The lead guitarist is superb!! The medley of parodies at the end, played ‘unplugged style’ was icing on a very tasty cake!
Emo and Al, 2 treasures
by Hammerhead79 on 2018-06-08Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5Emo and Al were amazing. My Daughter's first REAL Concert. I even bought her a Coca Cola! We both really enjoyed the concert, she is learning guitar. I could tell she was watching the guitar playing, our seats were great for that.
Weird Al and Emo bring it
by LaughinginthePeg on 2018-06-08Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5Weird Al and Emo Philips are a perfect combination.
Hilarious!

"Weird Al" Yankovic: Ill-Advised Vanity Tour
by used2befan on 2018-06-06River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 2 out of 5Only played one song I knew -- Star wars saga, the rest were loud and annoying, I even wore earplugs which were provided by the venue
Read the poster for this concert!!!
by JadedMan on 2018-06-06River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 3 out of 5I didn't read the poster for this concert, so I was a bit disappointed. The set list was mostly songs I wasn't familiar with, very few from the 80s. I wouldn't have gone had I realized.
Awesome show
by Mmitch2 on 2018-06-06River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 5 out of 5I have been to 3 Weird Al shows, always a great time. The venue is great. Only complaint is the parking, well exiting the parking lot
Weird Al- What happened to the parodies?
by Dmanross on 2018-06-05River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 2 out of 5Weird Al is known mainly for his parody songs right?! Well, he didnt do any parodies till the end and he changed up the arrangement of them so it wasnt even really a parody. he did all his own originals. They are funny, but unless you're a hardcore fan, you wouldnt know them. Very disappointed.
Fantastic show by a fantastic duo
by Stewy91 on 2018-06-05River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 5 out of 5Emo Philips knocked it out of the park with his comedy act, and Weird Al kicked it old school with some of his original songs.
Weird Al was amazing, the venue was terrible.
by Sstefaniuk on 2018-06-05River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 4 out of 5The show was fantastic, Al played songs I haven't heard in ages. It was a wonderfully unique show. Emo Phillips was a fantastic opening act. It was an unforgettable evening! The venue, however, was terrible. It's essentially a bunch of folding chairs on a flat floor in a giant hollowed out barn. If you're not in the first 5-6 rows good luck seeing anything that's happening on the stage... The acoustics are terrible, there were two GIANT screens that had nothing on them for the entirety of the show, no live footage of the performers, nothing. A multi million dollar casino should really be able to provide a better venue. I would have rated this show a 5 but I felt I had to remove a star because the venue was so terrible.

I had been to shows here before that were bad enough to walk out on, but I was completely blown away by how good Weird Al was. Sounded great, show was on time, and it was funny. I would definitely go again if he came through here.
Weird Al never disappoints
by 1Angelof3 on 2018-06-05River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 5 out of 5Emo Philips was very entertaining intelligent comedy. It is refreshing to hear a comedian that doesn't use swearing as a crutch. We have seen Weird Al over 7 times, I think this was has best concert of his I have seen in Edmonton, next to the one he performed at the Winspear Centre. Loved the original songs and the encore. Would go to see him do this format again. Downside for me-The first 3 rows were "VIP" , we had 2nd row seats left of center, VIP's received a bracelet that allows them to stand in front of the stage. I am disabled so I can't stand for long periods and this practice blocked our view, because Weird Al sits during this performance. If I had known I wasn't going to see anything I would have purchased balcony seating.
Weird Al delivers!
by JPFitz on 2018-06-05River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 4 out of 5Second time seeing Al, this venue however leaves one lacking, like he said it was akin to watching a show in a barn.
Not great
by Meechandfamily on 2018-06-05River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 1 out of 5Disappointed all he did was a mash up of a few of his popular songs.
Weird Al doesn’t disappoint!
by Areadude on 2018-06-05River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 5 out of 5Fifth time seeing weird Al, all were great! First time seeing a concert at the river Cree. Mezzanine seating was excellent! Comfy chairs, great view, bar close by as well as washrooms. Will pay extra to sit there again for future concerts.
Weird Al - most boring concert ever
by ah518 on 2018-06-05River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 1 out of 5Getting through the first song was ok. After that, sooo boring. Not sure what I expected; I think more comedy/entertainment. Him, just sitting, singing songs, and not his big hits, was torturous.
Great show, lousy venue
by Anonymous on 2018-06-05River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 4 out of 5Show was excellent and would recommend to anyone. Weird Al puts on a great show, whether the big fancy show or in this tour's stripped back, simple version.never a disappointment. Venue was a big barn with mediocre amenities, overrun drink service and mediocre acoustics but Weird Al and Emo were grand.
