We had great seats, great visuals but the sound was terrible. Couldn’t hear most of what was said by announcers or Guy McLean. There was even some commentary being accidentally piped in from the prep area during the show jumping! Sound is a problem every year but worst ever this year.
The quality of the performances during this equestrian highlight was superb. As typical of all the shows we saw during this year's Royal, not only was the level of equestrian excellence consistent, the Master of Ceremonies and announcing was excellent. Truly a wonderful highlight of the equestrian/Royal events, and the following that the participants have, brought attention to Toronto/Ontario as a destination. The main issue was that as we were late in purchasing tickets, we had to have standing room--this would have been fine, had we not noticed MANY unfilled seats directly across from us. If these were corporate seats, or whatever, what a waste indeed. I can't begin to think why they went empty, but this really needs to be considered for future events-when know to be empty, perhaps they could then be offered for sale to others?
We had a blast! Even my son who isn't really into horses enjoyed himself. There were several great shows before the actual event. The entire audience was captivated by the Big Ben challenge rounds. It was complete silence during the ride. The entire crowd was up riding with each one of the competitors. It was great!
Will be going again next year for sure and will spend 2 days at the fair, tons for the whole family
Not great value for the money. The whole event is over in 2 hours. This was our first and last time to the Royal Rodeo. I have been to the Calgary Stampede on numerous occasions. The value for the money is much better. Parking and commuting to this event was horrid. We have been to the Royal many times and really do enjoy it. The rodeo is another story.
Great show. Good price. Bull riders are nuts!!!!!!
This was our third year attending this event, and it was the best one yet! It's always more exciting when Amber Marshall co-hosts! The bronc and bull riding events were so exciting and fun to watch! The barrel racing and pole bending events were great too. It's a good variety of events packed into a short time. Our seats were the best ones yet, section 110 row H, seats 1-7 and we had a great view of the holding pens and the chute. We will be back again!
Seats were fair. Overpriced and oversold. Someone else had my seats and tickets to prove it!
Great show! Amber Marshall did a great job! So lucky to see the Canadian Cowgirls. My daughter had a smile on her face the entire time.
Nice to see some new things compared to last year.
Lots of fun and a great way to start the horse show
We go to this show every year as a tradition. It is always fun and entertaining plus a day full of other events and activities at the royal.
Incredible show with so many top riders in the world.
I must say, after visiting the Royal for many years, the show never fails to entertain. The dog/horse challenge was really fun and exciting. We had to switch out two seats to accommodate for mom's wheelchair but the other two were really good too. The venue is smaller than, say, the Dome so there are really no bad seats. It is always exciting to watch competition anyway, but the Royal has to be my favourite place to be, every year.
It was a great evening! Good race. I don't know much about horse-racing but it was still very entertaining and exciting.

Fast paced, smoothly run and an excellent facility. Especially loved the Dressage!
Great Horse show event. Also being able to watch some events unthreatening afternoon was great. However the rest of the show with the venders us getting dissapointing. Less and lass every year.
It was my first time attending this event. I enjoyed the different shows and loved seeing all the animals. It was a great day! I do, however, wish there was more western tack, apparel etc... in the vendor area. The rest was great. Until next year!
There's a reason I keep going back every single year. There's never a bad seat in the house, and all of my favorite vendors are there with great sales and deals. It's an all around amazing experience for horse and livestock lovers alike. Great for any age!
