  • OMG, that was different!

by loveLexxi on 2013-04-26Upstate Concert Hall - Clifton ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Definetely great to see them on tour!!! So much different from their shows in residency in Hollywood or Vegas. They did no cover songs at all. Almost all their songs from the two records were on the setlist. That show should not be underage though. Quite weird seing teenagers there!! o.O The guys were perfect, great shape, as we know and love them!! :)

  • NYE at the commodore.

Heard good reviews about these guys, but on NYE they were underwhelming. Also the show seemed curtailed at 1hr 20 min.

  • Steel Panthers was forgetable

We bought VIP tickets to the show in Oct. We asked Commodore staff at the time what kind of food will be served what do you get with VIP tickets and will there be reserved seating. they could not answer any of these questions and said to call back closer to the event date. I called back the night of and they still could not answer all the questions. The VIP seats were not worth the money. the opening band sucked but the second band rocked it. Steel Panthers got on stage at 10 mins to midnight and did a great iron maiden cover but wished they had gotten on stage earlier. it seemed too rushed for the countdown. No encore either. I saw Steel Panthers in Vegas and they rocked it then, they seemed off this show.

  • Sound Academy Sucks

by Renrik on 2012-08-12Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

This was the fourth time I'd seen Steel Panther. This was an absolutely terrible venue and the crowds were violent and inconsiderate. I arrived early and had a spot near the front (as I also did for the other three Steel Panther shows I had seen) and I had to leave as soon as Steel Panther came on because I was getting mauled by the crowd. There was a girl in the washroom in hysterics because she had been punched in the face by a fan. The whole experience was terrible. I will see Steel Panther again, but I will fly to Vegas before going to the Sound Academy again.

  • Not as good as I expected...

by vikingwarrior on 2012-08-11Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

The guys talked too much - I don't think they performed more than 10 songs with their encore. They spent a LOT of the show time just speaking and joking. I understand they are pretty hilarious and everything, but when you pay to see a live music performance, that's different. Also, it reminded me of all the cover bands I've seen here, the way they pulled down girls who didn't look very pretty to the stage and had them dance.

Firstly: Why am i limited to only giving 5 stars? These guys deserve at least 3 million. Secondly: GREATEST SHOW IN THE HISTORY OF TIME!!!!!

  • Steel Panther show in Toronto Didn't Disappoint

by communityproperty on 2012-08-11Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Great Steel Panther show in Toronto at the Sound Academy .... they bring back the true feel of 80's hair metal. Full of energy from start to finish, amazing solo's and fantastic crowd interaction throughout the show. We'll definitely go to see them again the next time they're in town or we're in Las Vegas.

  • CFOX seeds ZZZZZ, Steel Panther Greaaaat!!

by ClayPhoenix on 2010-12-13Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Steel Panther is the band I came to see. I was annoyed with the CFOX seeds bands.I think they really SUCK!!!.I would not have minded as bad if they only played 3 songs each, but they each played 5+ songs. I had to wait over 3 hours (11:15) before Steel Panther played because I had one of just a few great upper section tables I had to be there very early. Last year people boooed seeds bands and I was hoping they would learn and get a band that is similar style to the Panther. Seeds bands have nothing in common with the headliners....Nickelback has been the most sucessful "Seeds" band, but I doubt they would ever consider having a pop band open for them EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cheeky, offensive cheese

by mikw on 2010-12-10Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Steel Panther does not disappoint if you are stuck in the latter glam period of 1984. However, beware, they are raunchy. Exploiting women, insulting each others' mothers, vulgar lyrical themes, nasty porno pictures and onstage sexual antics makes for a hell of a show. Check'em out!
