About

Slightly Stoopid was discovered by Sublime’s Bradley Nowell in 1995. Co-founders Miles Doughty(Opens in new tab) and Kyle McDonald were still in high school in San Diego when they inked a deal with Nowell’s indie label Skunk Records. Fusing rock, reggae, and blues with hip-hop, funk, American folk, metal, and punk, Slightly Stoopid forged their sonic legacy on the road, selling out venues across the world and bringing their SoCal vibes to festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Austin City Limits and more. Albums like Everything You Need (2003), Closer to the Sun (2005) and Chronchitis (2007) feature summertime classics “2am” and “Closer to the Sun.”

it was pretty good concert, worth the two hour drive from B.C. only wish was that they would have played "Sweet Honey" which would have been amazing, other then that, it was epic.

These guys ripped it up at the ballroom. Wicked sound. Solid band with some surprise death metal mosh action. Loved it!
