Roch Voisine Tickets

We enjoyed more the 2nd part. Not the Roch Voisine we were expecting.......

Roch's voice is still as good as in the 80s if not better. You don't need to know all of his songs to enjoy his concerts. His music is so beautifull and he's pretty easy on the eye ;)

I flew into Toronto from Calgary on Oct. 22 and drove from airport to Orillia to see Roch Voisine (made it just ten minutes early). He started singing a 9:10 pm and wished everyone a good night at 10:00 pm (forcing an encore which last about another 15 minutes). A little disappointing to travel so far to see an artist who only has an hour to offer. Perhaps all casino shows are this short. Performance-wise, he is as fabulous as ever (although shys away a bit from holding the high notes or long notes in many songs). When he does hold those notes and reach those heights, he is awesome. His Americana CDs are excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed the short time given to listen to him. Would obviously have loved to hear more of the old songs (ie With These Eyes) and the original version (not restructured) version of I'll Always be There. Would listen to him anytime!

Frankly, I was very disappointed with the Roch Voisine concert. Though he has a great voice and is "pleasant to look at", he sang mostly cover songs. I remember Roch Voisine for his great, original folk music and many beautiful bilingual songs. I didn't expect as much country music, and I certainly didn't expect him to sing "Johnny Be Good" and "Heart of Gold" over his original recordings (i.e. He didn't even sing "Hélène", which was one of his most popular songs!). Based on this concert, I would not go see him again!

Roch is an amazing singer. I wasn't aware he was doing an album on country music hits so that came as a surprise. He did a fantastic job of the country songs and blew me away with his previously recorded hits! I'm so glad he did some of his original songs!

It was an EXCELLENT show!!! It was different then what he usually performs but I really enjoyed it. Roch Voisine , being an excellent musician himself, had a spectacular band accompanying him- good variety from violin player to base guitar to electric guitar.

It was great! I would highly recommend this venue as well.

Everything was amazing. The music, the presentation, and the venue. I would have liked a little more encouragement for the crowd to join in, but otherwise a concert I will talk about for years to come! Thanks Roch

As always Roch pleases those who come to see him. The only downside was the concert was too short for most of us in attendance. He could have played all night. His band is also extremely talented.

The show was WAY TOO SHORT!! Sorry, didn't drive all this way for a show that was barely 1 hour & 15 mins!! Wouldn't do it again at Rama.....so Roch please pick another venue next time!!

I really can't say anything bad about Roch!! :) I wished it were longer as I did drive over 3 hours to get there just to see him. (This was my fourth time seeing him in concert.) I would have loved to have had a chance to meet him, chat for a minute and ask him a question or two. Am already looking forward to the next time!

Did enjoy his songs better than the number 1 country song, band in America. He has an amazing voice and with some of these songs it was masked by the band and the loud music. Preferred his voice only and the accoustix.

I had just rec'd bad news...my job was elininated it was my last day in the role and then I hear someone I knew had passed. I didn't want to miss Roch I have been a fan for many years so I decided to go. For the hour and a half Roch sang I forgot about all of my worries I was taken away to a wondeful place. Roch is so talented his voice to me was an angel soothing my worries. I went out the next morning and bought his new CD Americana..playing it right now...his voice live is simply AMAZING it's just as if you are listening to his CD in your car. I hope he comes back as I would see him again and again. God bless you Roch!

The concert was overall good; however we were disappointed in the length of the concert. After only an hour into the concert Roch was saying "Goodnight". He came back on for 20 minutes. Other concerts we have been to there have lasted at least til 10:45. We have seen him a few times before and his concerts were much longer. Also a bit disappointment of his interaction with the crowd. He was more interactive with his band then his fans. Felt more like we were in a lounge environment. Overall we had a good time. Our seats were fantastic and the sound was good.

Seen him last time at Rama. He had a very good consert then. He was personal, entertaining and played all his own songs. We went back to see him , hoping for a similar concert. This time it was like a kareeokee night. He played very few of his songs and for the most part was singing other artist's songs, mostly country music. I do not like country music and would have never gone to see him if I would have been told about his venus.

Roch always puts on an excellent concert-fun, relaxing, uplifting, hand-clapping, down-right good Canadian fun! He's an example of the best Canadian music has to offer. I've seem him in concert many many times and have all his albums, French and English, and he never disappoints his fans and audiences.....the only thing i'd change? Make the concert twice as long!!

The good news is that Roch Voisine has an amazing voice and can do justice to any song. The bad news is that most of the songs he performed were by other artists. After numerous prompts from the crowd, he finally sang what I consider to be his best song:Helene. However, he sang only about 1/3 of the song!!

An excellent venue for an unforgetable evening of listening to an amazing musician and the back-up band. A 11/2 hour long concert that was packed full of country, folk and Roch's old standbys!

I actually rate this performance about 4.5/5 Alive and energetic, Roch sang and played beautifully. With hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s. He delivers a stellar performance that has you singing and in some cases, dancing along with him. His band was amazing as well. Incredibly talented players I could watch for hours. All in all, a big hit that I recommend!

Concert was way too short. Not enough older stuff. Can't believe he only played for 1 hr 25 min, not worth the thickets and drive 3 hrs to see him
