Ottawa REDBLACKS History
The Ottawa REDBLACKS are a professional football team in the Canadian Football League (CFL). The REDBLACKS are the third CFL team to call Capital City their home, and upon their founding in 2014, ended Ottawa’s nearly decade-long run without a professional football team. In 2016, the team brought the Grey Cup back to Ottawa for the first time in 40 years, becoming the fastest Canadian-based expansion franchise to win a championship in a North American professional sports league with three seasons played. Ottawa has also claimed three East Division titles, in 2015, 2016 and 2018. Across its first ten seasons, the REDBLACKS roster has featured two Most Outstanding Canadian Award winners, one Most Outstanding Player and one Most Outstanding Defensive Player.

Ottawa REDBLACKS at The Stadium at TD Place
The Stadium at TD Place Stadium has been the home of the Ottawa REDBLACKS since 2014, though its history dates back to the city’s first CFL team, the Ottawa Rough Riders. Opened in 1908 as a stadium surrounding a playing field built in the 1870s, the former Lansdowne Park has hosted matches for football, soccer and rugby as well the Summer Olympics and outdoor hockey exhibitions. The 24,000-seat venue hosted its seventh Grey Cup championship game, and first as TD Place Stadium, at the 105th matchup in 2017. At home games for the Ottawa REDBLACKS, fans can cheer along with the team’s lumberjack mascot, Big Joe.

Enjoyed another game at TD Place. Good seat, great atmosphere, good crowd, good food and beer. Only thing missing was a win. QB change might have been made a bit earlier and improved chances of winning, but hindsight is always 20/20.
Good game. need to be able to print ticket for people without cell phones. Very hard to get to events like this. People are better off without phones on board all the time. Easy to put "print ticket"button on ticketmaster site.
I love going to watch the RedBlacks. It’s a great event. The only issue is the food venue pricing. It’s outrageous. I don’t know how they can charge the prices they charge. $7.50 for a regular hotdog. Come one ! Other than that fun time. I go once a year with my dad.

Great game but I won't be back with these concession prices. It would be one thing if I was getting value for money but high price + poor quality food equals a no go for me brother.
The Redblacks are having a great season so far compared to the last three years. If they continue on this path, they will meet Montreal in the Eastern Final for a berth in the Grey Cup this year.
Game was great, food was good and beer cold. Free bus from downtown to the game and back, though return bus was really late thanks to snarled traffic. Viewing angles were great, but it would be nice to have a screen on the South side to make it easier to see replays from North side. Fans were boisterous and atmosphere was nice. Worth travelling from out of town. Ticket prices are reasonable.
Great game by evenly matched teams right through double overtime. Possibly a preview of the 2024 Greycup game.
Good game, good food, good atmosphere. Too bad our quarterback went down before half time. Not sure what this means for the rest of the season unless he comes back
We hadn’t been to TD Place/Landsdowne Park in likely 20 years. All of the upgrades etc looked really nice. Very open and clean. Super easy to get to with the free OC transpo to/from the site. We parked in Kanata and were there and back at games end in less than 25 minutes with 0 time waiting either trip. We had a friend visiting from Saskatchewan who had never been to a CFL game and we hadn’t been in year's so this seemed like the perfect opportunity. Who could have know that we would both win, lose and tie in the same game!! Still hard to believe that happened! We were North side just under the roof so even the rain wasn’t bad for us! We’ll definitely go back!
I just love paying over $10.00 for a regular hotdog or slice of pizza and a $5 plus bottle of water, you just can't get any deals like that anymore these days.......
Beautiful weather, great win although the team seems unable to sustain drives and pass down field. Beer prices are a bit high . Great time at the park . We shall be back.
Ticket price was good. Entertaining game with the home team coming out on top. Getting in and to/from was good. But...I'm done with the concessions and the ridiculous prices. $50 for 2 beers and 2 slices of pizza...$37 for 2 beers and 1 pop. There's a reason I didn't have to wait in any lines. Please reassess your concession pricing to make it a 5 star experience.
Great game. Amazing ambiance. Fireworks and had the opportunity to go on the field. Go Red/Black go.
We just need good football. I don't think the demographics need to music to be blasting like that for the people close to the field just to reach the people higher up.
Seats in the north side bleachers were good. The game was a bit boring until the last 30 seconds. Entertainment was okay.
Good game audio was weak on North side section F. Entertainment was OK but audio was weak.
Can we do it this year? That is the question. One can only dream.
The experience was great just wished that they had a done that closed and we were covered from the rain
